Rhythm Factory NIGHTCLUB - BAR - GALLERY - RESTAURANT

Work The Box 2nd Anniversary - 25 October
Work The Box 2nd anniversary with special guest VERA (Germany) and Les Petit Ouiseaux plus residents Toni C & Zaki. Room 2 hosted by Techno Cave.

Vera's timeless music selection, a subtle mixing style and her authentic, elegant appearance behind the decks impressed clubbers and promoters all around the globe. Constantly evolving and picking up impulses, she follows her intuition rather then trends and she keeps surprising with unexpected sets, that have a humble, female touch.

Vera's media are her vinyls, that she’s choosing from a decent record collection. For her it’s all about the story a dj is telling and the ambience being created, not about genres or playing one big tune after the other. Each gig she prepares passionately, trying to imagine and select the right music for each place she's visiting.

Her roots reach back to the golden age of techno and house- the early 90’s. Over a decade of experience behind the decks turned her into a routined DJ, that is booked in numerous places all over the world. At the same time though, she’s still a insiders’ tip to many. Since 2004 she's a resident DJ at the Robert Johnson Club in Offenbach.

As a producer Vera released music on respected labels like Perlon, Oslo, Hello? Repeat and moonharbour/ cargo edition - solo works as well as colaborations with Ricardo Villalobos, Federico Molinari and with Maayan Nidam, under the moniker Mara Trax. Since 2011 Vera lives and works in Berlin, where she’s hosting regular nights at her favorite Berlin music place, Club der Visionäre.

Music Remedy & Mohobelo present: Long & Harris - 07 November
For London launch Music Remedy and Mohobelo are collaborating for one night only...

Music Remedy was founded in York, 2 years ago. After a string of sell out events hosting names such as Bodhi, Applebottom, The Golden Boy, Wayward, TÂCHES and Catching Flies, we have moved down south continuing our parties, playing a great mix of House & Disco Tunes and hosting some of the most exciting up and coming artists around. As always we are joined by our awesome residents and friends who keep the groove going into the wee hours..

Mohobelo is a vibrant collective of DJs and Producers who share a passion for quirky techno, fidgety house and tropical beats. Their afro influences and electro roots provoke a jungle jive like none other. We recommend fruity shirts and colourful cocktails. Together we aim to provide an unforgettable night and a mixture of House & Disco tunes with slight undertones of tropical and jungle like vibes.

Long & Harris
Shane Long & Kane Harris are rising London house stars having started out putting on their own nights in London & Essex often playing back-to-back at these parties. After a few parties they have grabbed the attention of many respected labels with their distinctive sound of deep and soulful house. Long & Harris have now been signed to Toolroom Records and are moving from strength to strength. We are therefore extremely excited to welcome them to our London launch party and let them show us their bass-driven, body-rocking, soulful deep house sound, dropping the odd 70s and 80s disco vibe to keep things on a classic tip.

Pursuit
Head honcho of Bristol’s much-loved night Sanctuary and former resident at London’s famous Pacha Presents, Jack Pates is a true house music aficionado. Having cut his teeth on pirate radio throughout his teenage years, Pursuit is a name that’s become synonymous with quality, underground house music heavily influenced by jazz & soul. Expect fun and smiles.

Catching Flies

London based musician/producer, Catching Flies made quite an impact with his debut EP 'The Stars' in October of last year. Since then he has produced a string of remixes including one of Jill Scott's track 'Golden' and has more recently collaborated with Ifan Dafydd on the track 'Don't Know How'. 2013 has also seen the release of his second EP 'The Long Journey Home', with an new EP soon to be released. He will also be supporting Bonobo & Submotion Orchestra in his upcoming tours. This young producer is certainly set for big things.
