For our return to the Rhythm Factory we are proud to announce we will be giving Darling Farah his debut UK show in advance of his much-anticipated debut album. He will be playing tracks live from the album tweaked for the dance floor alongside earlier material. Darling Farah, real name Kamau Baaqi was born in Detroit and spent most of life in the United Arab Emirates before recently relocating to London. Stopping off in London via Savannah USA is recent Night Slugs and All Caps signing Helix. Coming seemingly from nowhere his as yet still unreleased track ‘Stacks Riddim’ was one of the highlights of Ben UFO’s excellent Rinse CD. Read the XLR8R feature on him here: http://bit.ly/HLNHAB
The origins of Tom Dicicco are a little less exotic. Hailing from Nottingham before hooking up with AnD at Manchester’s Eastern Bloc Records and founding Inner Surface Music while at University, Tom has quickly become one of the rising talents of UK techno.
