Physical Motion is the new off shot project from RSS // Recession Sound System, we still have our notoriously convivial party ethics, but with a focus on DJs we truly love and respect, pairing them with a unique setting that has never been done before. This evening we celebrate the London legends, Toby Tobias + Dan Beaumont.

-----------

A cornerstone of the Rekids stable since day one, Toby Tobias has carved a reputation for being at the forefront of pioneering dance music and championing the unformulaic with his unique modern disco-infused sounds. Heading up two labels, Tracky Bottoms and LateNightAudio, remixing the who’s who of house and techno and gathering support from everyone from Robert Owens to Wolf & Lamb, it’s all too clear to see Tobias’ talent and commitment to electronic music.

The Nu-Disco era has become a major factor on every dance floor across europe, Toby Tobias is considered to be one of the leaders of the resurgence of the genre illuminated by his 'Underground Disco' compilation on Ministry Of Sound. This year alone, he's had critically acclaim with release on Quintessentials, Let's Play House and More Music. Toby Tobias is on fire at the moment and has been for coming on to a decade.

Dan Beaumont is one of the founding members of the Disco Bloodbath collective who began throwing parties in Dalston basements in 2006. He's been lucky enough to play to discerning dancefloors like Horse Meat Disco, Secretsundaze, Bugged Out, Fabric, Trailer Trash, Homoelectric and many others.

He's also had a hand in remixing artists like Franz Ferdinand, The Aliens, Little Boots and Monarchy. Dan is known for spinning a heady mix of vintage house, italo rarities, vocal disco and the best new music he can find. In 2009 he fulfilled a dream and opened a venue of his very own; East London's much feted Dalston Superstore which has played host to fellow DJs like Erol Alkan, Optimo, Daniel Wang, and many more. Dan is currently working on Jam Factory; an exciting new studio project with Ben Rymer using a lot of very old equipment... Watch this space.

-----------

William Victor Smith aka Leisureware is the founder of the gloriously underground Fill Yer Boots, being digging his mixes and parties for a long while and super happy to get him down to playing with some like-minded folk.

This is a extremely rare chance to see what is and has been going on in disco-inspired house music for the last decade, the set will be unique to this night only, we are so lucky to get this pioneers for one night only.
